Oklahoma Harlan Horses

Bob Robey and Harlan

Harlan:  1951-1973

Bob and Joan Robey purchased Harlan as a three year old and Bob roped calves on him. The Robey's either owned him outright or as a syndicate most of his life.

Harlan sired 403 AQHA foals earning 2996 points in roping, reining, cutting, racing, pleasure, trail, barrels, poles and halter, not to mention the many rodeo and ranch horses.

The Robey's have been raising Harlan bred horses for over 50 years until Bob passed in April of 2011, 10 years after Joan's passing.

Harlan was inducted in the Oklahoma Quarter Horse Hall of Fame in 2006, the AQHA Hall of Fame in 2019, and Bob was awarded the AQHA Legacy Award in Amarillo in 2007.
